Abidjan, Jan. 31, GNA - The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) has improved its ranking in the ś2013 Global Think Tank Indexť.
The latest ranking listed the KAIPTC 51st among the top 65 global Foreign Policy and International Affairs Think Tanks.
A statement issued by Mr Ebenezer Anum-Tetteh, KAIPTC Public Relations Officer and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday said, the Centre™s ranking is the highest in the same category for Think Tanks in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The same report ranked the Centre 60th in top 70 Security and International Affairs Think Tanks in 2012.

The statement said the seventh edition of the report, which was released by the University of Pennsylvania was the result of an international survey of over 1,950 scholars, public and private donors, policy makers, and journalists who helped rank over 6,500 think tanks.
The Index has become the standard for think tanks around the world and is widely cited by governments, donors, journals and policymakers as the foremost profile and performance of think tanks in every region of the world.
