Charged with defilement Adofo has pleaded not guilty.
The court presided over by Ms Ellen V. Amoah remanded Adofo into prison custody to reappear on January 29.
Prosecuting Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sarah Acquah said the victim is a house help who resides at Taifa in Accra with her mistress. Accused person also resides in the same vicinity.
On December 16, at about 1300 hours, the victim was sent by her mistress to buy some food stuff from the market. On her way, Adofo lured the victim into his house where he (Adofo) offered the victim Malta Guinness to drink.
ASP Acquah said as soon as the victim drunk the Malta Guinness she became drowsy and slept. Adofo undressed the victim and had sex with her.
Prosecution said when the victim woke up she saw her pant on the floor. Adofo asked her to wear it and he brought to bring a taxi which the two boarded.
Adofo took the victim to Dansoman where he handed her over to one Kweku now at large who also had sex with her.
After the act, prosecution said, Adofo and Kweku arranged for a taxi to take the victim to Taifa and gave the mistress of the victim™s telephone number to the driver to call her when he reached Taifa.
The driver located the mistress of the victim and a report was made to the police.
ASP Acquah said investigations led to the arrest of Adofo who also led the Police to arrest Kweku but he (Kweku) was nowhere to be found.
Prosecution said the Police had stepped up efforts to arrest Kweku.
