Abesim, (B/A), Feb. 27, GNA – Christ for All Nations (CfaN), an international gospel evangelistic ministry, on Monday honoured 70 Reverend Ministers in Brong-Ahafo, for their contributions to the success of the November 2016 Reinhard Bonnke crusade, held in Sunyani, the regional capital.
More than 800,000 people from all walks of life attended the four-day “Greater Peace Gospel Crusade” put together by CfaN, which has its Africa office in Ghana.
Bonnke, a renowned German international evangelist founded the CfaN with the aim to reach out and introduce millions of people to the kingdom God through his evangelistic ministry.
The Rev Ministers, including female pastors, received special citations of honour, jointly signed by Evangelists Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda, the Executive President of CfaN, and Rev John Kwasi Darku, its Africa’s Executive Director.
At a short ceremony at Abesim, near Sunyani, Apostle James Kofi Abbrey, the Special Assistant to Rev Darku, noted that the CfaN crusade was making significant impact in spiritual lives of people in the country.
He said the spiritual lives of thousands of Ghanaians and millions of Africans were being transformed and commended the Reverend Ministers for their commitment in wining souls into the Kingdom of God.
Describing the Sunyani crusade as extra-ordinary and power-packed, Apostle Abbrey advised the Ministers of the gospel to help nurture “souls which were won” for Christ so that they would be rooted and grounded in the Church of God.
Meanwhile, the Africa Office of the CfaN has expressed profound gratitude to all and sundry whose contributions led to the successful organisation of the crusade.
A statement signed by Rev Darku, and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said “the CfaN Sunyani crusade is a proof of what combined efforts of men and women of purpose, persistence and dedication can achieve”.
“We in CfaN will not take the time, talents and treasures you committed to the success of the crusade for granted and continue to pray for God to increase His power upon you to affect your church and community and the world at large”, it added.
