The fair scheduled for Sunyani from August 21- August 24 was postponed due to challenges identified by the Ministry of Information and Media Relations.
Mr Paul Aidoo, Brong Ahafo Regional Minister who announced this in Sunyani asked the private sector to participate in the event to promote their businesses.
Mr Aidoo, who made this known during a meeting of the BARCC in Sunyani, called on the heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the Region to make conscious efforts to provide residential and office accommodation for their personnel.
He explained that BARCC is being over-stretched in the provision of such facilities.
The meeting, which was attended by heads of MDAs, provided the platform for them to know the progress made on the execution of development projects and programmes.
Mr Aidoo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Sefwi-Wiawso noted that the nation is confronted with financial challenges because of scarcity of resources coupled with payment of workers™ salaries under the Single Spine Pay Policy (SSPP).
He said the SSPP consumes about 70 per cent of the country™s Internally Generated Fund.
Mr Aidoo expressed the need for workers to be disciplined and prudent in the management of scarce resources.
On infrastructure development in the Region, he said there had been improvements in the road, health, education and water sectors.
