Mr Kola Osinowo, Business Lead of MMDG said the campaign, which will commence in Kumasi, would focus on letting users achieve more with the device and also help provide solutions to their technological needs.
“Microsoft aims at helping consumers to explore their devices to achieve more in life”, he added.
Mr Osinowo said the MMDG would educate people on how to access the devices and make the best out of the Lumia, especially when it comes to similar applications found in computers.
“Considering local realities, we understand that power outage is a current problem in the country and that is why we would be bundling the devices, including Lumia 535, 640 with variety of freebies such as power banks”.
The Business Lead noted that the Group considered feedbacks from costumers during the promotional Lumia 535 draw, which had five cars at stake, and would give an opportunity to everyone to win something additional to a device purchased.
He said the Group would bundle the Lumia 640 devices with free Office 365 for 12 months, one terabyte of storage space, and a license that could allow the user to continue or transfer programmes onto a device tablet or a computer.
Mr Osinowo also said the Group has pledged to roll out Windows 10 on more than a billion devices around the globe by the year 2018.
He expressed the Group’s gratitude to Ghanaians for being among the top 20 most users of the Microsoft Lumia Devices.
